Meet the Artist.
“Hi, I am an artist living and working in Prescott, Arizona. Really I'm a full time high school teacher and a part time creative. In addition to art, I write and received my MFA in Fiction from University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 2021.
My art is primarily inspired by nature, specifically that of my home state of Arizona. I come from a long line of outdoor enthusiasts and art is my version of continuing the tradition. I have developed my drawing and color pencil skills over the years, beginning to incorporate raw wood materials to elevate and more pronomintetly feature the textures of nature. My current muse seems to be birds and fish, always birds or fish.
My published stories can be found here as well. My focus revolves around growing up in the American Southwest (there is a theme here between my writing and art). Place has always been important to my work and the identity that develops out of Western culture and the prevailing open spaces.
Recently, I have pushed my art practice even further by beginning to design and build my own wooden panels and frames with my dad in his backyard workshop. It’s a real family affair and my dad has promised to continue woodworking well into his retirement.”

Comissions.
I am available for commision work. My prefered mediums are colored pencils and ink. While I typically work on wooden panels, clients can request other materials. Pricing is based on an individual basis and the project requested by the client.
Perspective clients will need to fill out the “Contact” form. Given time zone differences and my full time teaching job, I hold myself to a 48 hour response time.
